I had a dream last night. I was sitting on a ledge. There wasn't enough room to lie down. I looked over the edge. There was only nothingness. I turned around and looked up. The cliff was a vertical drop. I could not see the top. I sat back down and pondered the situation. Should i wait for help, climb, or jump?
Jumping was out of the question. I am not one to concede anything. Waiting for help was not much of an option, I have learned one can only depend on him or herself. So I climbed. And I fell. As I was plummeting toward the seemingly bottomless abyss, I felt content. Although i was uneasy about my imminent demise, given my less than optimal situation, I was satisfied.

I guess risk is necessary to improve ones standing in life. If I had waited for help, I would probably still be sitting on that ledge.

Fool I pity- myself and other community college students
our path is unclear and our jorney is long and arduous
